Chris Cree serves as a missionary in Scotland with his wife Lisa where they direct a campus of an international Bible College. They co-founded NewCREEations Ministries together where they focus on sharing God’s goodness and character with a hurting world.
Chris was a merchant marine officer and flew off of aircraft carriers in jets with the US Navy. After leaving the Navy he spent 12 years working in on the docks in various marine cargo operations positions. Then in 2007 Chris turned his blogging hobby into a new career developing websites, both in his own business as a freelancer and as an employee of a rapidly growing firm. This job change provided the flexibility to eventually leave the coast where the ships were, move to the mountains and go to Bible college.
Lisa was trained as a veterinary technician (nurse) in school. In 1989 she participated in an agricultural exchange program in Australia where she spent a year working in a zoo. Upon returning to the States Lisa spent the next 15+ years working with rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, gazelles and all sorts of other exotic animals in zoo medicine. Lisa has also owned and run multiple small businesses including a business women’s networking organization.
Today the Crees live in Scotland where they focus their time on discipling the students in the Bible college. Their own experience going through school, along with everything they learned improved their lives so much that they are thrilled to be able to share the same life-giving truths with the people of Scotland and the world.
